Omkar Prasadalaya

“Omkar Prasadalay” has been built near the "Mamleshwar Setu" for the convenience of devotees. Visitors can get food at a nominal fee here. The meals served include lunch from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and khichdi from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The food is vegetarian and prepared in a sattvic manner. If any devotee wishes to donate items or money for this purpose, they can contact the temple administration.

Various food options are available for devotees visiting Omkareshwar. Several hotels and restaurants located near the main market and old bridge offer snacks and meals such as Gujarati thali and traditional dishes like dal-baati-churma. As Omkareshwar is a sacred place, non-vegetarian food is not available here.

Shri Gajanan Temple Trust also operates a restaurant at Shri Gajanan Ashram, offering high-quality food. The MP Tourism restaurant also serves all kinds of vegetarian food for devotees. Additionally, free meals (Bhandaras) are occasionally organized by different religious ashrams, where all devotees can participate. Devotees coming from Indore can enjoy tea and snacks at the “Gopal-Midway” near Narmada Bridge with scenic views.
