At the Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, the practice of Shayan Shringar (night adornment) has been in place since ancient times. This is a unique tradition that is only followed here in the entire world, as it is believed that every night, Bholenath (Shiva) and Mata Parvati visit Omkareshwar for their night rest. After the Shayan Aarti, from 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM, devotees can witness the divine sight of the Shayan Vyavstha, where a silver swing is placed, and a bed is laid out. On the bed, items like Chaupada (game pieces), a fan (Chauvar), and a Damru are placed, and the entire sanctum is adorned attractively.
AtFor the decoration of the sanctum, high-quality materials are used to make a silk set, which includes pillow covers, bolster covers, floor coverings, carpets, sheets for the bed, clothing for Mataji and Bholenath, a cover for the Shivling, and other items.
AtIf you wish to donate a complete Shayan Shringar set for the Bhagwan, you can contribute by clicking on the button below. After making a donation, it takes approximately 15 days to create the Shayan Shringar set. Therefore, the set can be offered only after 15 days of booking.
