At Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, the ancient tradition of Shayan Shringar (night adornment) is uniquely observed. It is believed that every night, Bholenath and Mata Parvati visit Omkareshwar for their divine rest. After the Shayan Aarti (9:00–9:30 PM), devotees can witness the sacred Shayan Vyavastha — where a silver swing, bed, Chaupada (game pieces), Chauvar (fan), Damru, and other adornments are beautifully arranged in the sanctum. For this, a special silk set is prepared, including bedding, carpets, Shivling cover, and clothing for Mataji and Bholenath — all made with the finest materials.
