Mangala Aarti will be held from 04:00 AM to 05:00 AM. Darshan will be open from 05:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Flowers and Bilva leaves with water will be collected outside. Only darshan will be allowed inside the sanctum; Jalabhishek or offering of other पूजा materials will not be permitted. Midday Bhog Aarti will be conducted from 12:20 PM to 01:00 PM as per schedule. Bhog offering will not be performed. Temple doors will remain closed during the eclipse from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM. After the eclipse, temple purification and cleaning will take place from 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM. Darshan will resume from 08:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Shayan Aarti will be held from 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM, after which the temple doors will be closed. All devotees and respected citizens are requested to cooperate with the arrangements made by the Temple Trust during the eclipse period.

In an effort to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise public awareness, the district administration has announced a new initiative for devotees visiting the holy town of Omkareshwar. Under this program, pilgrims who donate blood at Omkareshwar will be provided free VIP Protocol Darshan at Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. District Collector Mr. Rishav Gupta stated that devotees wishing to avail themselves of this facility must first donate blood at the designated camp in Omkareshwar, after which they will be eligible for complimentary protocol darshan. He emphasized that blood donation is not only a humanitarian service but also a noble act alongside darshan. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. O.P. Jugtawat informed that the initiative will officially commence from Tuesday, February 24. The facility will be available every Tuesday and Saturday. A dedicated blood donation collection vehicle along with a medical team from the District Hospital, Khandwa, will be stationed at Omkar Prasadalaya, Omkareshwar, on the designated days to facilitate donors. Any healthy individual between 18 and 60 years of age, with a minimum body weight of 45 kilograms, will be eligible to donate blood and benefit from the free VIP darshan facility. The administration hopes that this initiative will inspire more devotees to participate in blood donation while visiting the holy shrine, thereby contributing to both social welfare and spiritual fulfillment.

Amid a large influx of devotees at the Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, a devotee from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, experienced a sudden health emergency due to heavy crowd pressure. The devotee, identified as Mahesh Sharma, was visiting the temple along with his family for darshan when he collapsed inside the temple premises. Acting swiftly, Shri Omkareshwar Temple Trust staff member Deepak Malakar, with the support of local police personnel, immediately moved the devotee away from the crowded area. Demonstrating presence of mind and trained emergency response, Deepak Malakar administered CPR, which helped stabilize the devotee’s condition. Within a short time, the devotee regained consciousness and his health returned to normal.
