Shri Omkareshwar Mandir Trust

The Omkareshwar Temple was declared a public trust under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trust Act, 1951, in 1959. Seven trustees are appointed to manage the temple trust:

1. Rao of Mandhata as the Managing Trustee
2. A trustee nominated by the Rao of Mandhata
3. Two trustees nominated by the Registrar of Public Trusts
4. A trustee nominated by the District Panchayat of Khandwa
5. A trustee nominated by the Block Panchayat of Punasa
6. A trustee nominated by the Nagar Panchayat of Omkareshwar
